Priorities

These are the issues that Kellie promises to fight for.

Local Control

Protecting Southern Indiana's control for land use decisions regarding agriculture, economic development, water, and coal.

  • Solar
  • Wind
  • Coal
  • Natural Gas

Infrastructure

Funding for local bridges, roads, and drainage. We need a spokesperson for funding in rural Indiana. The state of Indiana fuel tax has generated millions of excess monies, while counties are forced to raise local taxes for maintenance and crumbling infrastructure.

  • Infrastructure Funds
  • Maintenance Funds

Accessible Healthcare

Funding for Behavioral Health access/Public health access. We must continue to invest in ways to bring providers into the healthcare system, address reimbursement rates for rural hospitals/emergency medical services, support services for infants and children to break the cycle of adult criminal justice related issues and costs

  • Behavioral Health Access
  • Public Health Access

Public Safety

It is the responsibility of the government to ensure that people are safe from harm and danger.  It is at my core to support the Fire Service, Emergency Medical Services, Law Enforcement, 911, Emergency Management Agencies, and our Veterans.

  • Behavioral Health Access
  • Public Health Access
